Each week Tullamore Tidy Towns volunteers meet to complete tasks included in our annual Tidy Tullamore programme which has been developed in collaboration with the Tullamore Municipal District / Offaly County Council.
Tasks include:
- Litter picking (approach roads, town centre, long pick canal banks)
- Planting (pollinator-friendly / bulbs)
- Weeding (planters / roadside kerbs)
- Sweeping (focus on cigarette butts)
- Tree maintenance (prune, check stakes & ties)
- Graffiti (removal, treat with anti -graffiti paint)
- Watering (planters / trees)
- Power hosing (bins, seats and planters)
- Bed maintenance (green spaces, approach roads, roundabouts)
